Webit server rack plinth is used to elevate and provide stability to a server rack. It is a platform that is placed at the bottom of the rack, raising it off the ground. The main purpose of a plinth is to provide additional airflow and ventilation for the equipment housed in the server rack. By elevating the rack, it helps to prevent dust and debris from accumulating underneath the rack, which can obstruct airflow and cause overheating. Additionally, a plinth can also help with cable management by providing a space for cables to be neatly routed and organized. Overall, a server rack plinth contributes to the proper functioning and longevity of the equipment within the rack by improving airflow and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
Constructed with folded steel sheet, the cabinet sides, base, and top feature ventilation slots for optimal airflow. Additionally, blank panels cover cable entry cut-outs in the top and base. The cabinets are equipped with two pairs of 19-inch rack-mounting profiles that can be adjusted through the depth of the rack. These profiles have apertures for standard cage nuts, allowing for equipment to be mounted across the open faces of the rack. The rear of the rack also provides mounting strips.
